Vice President – Energy/Utilities

Location:        Texas

Term:              Full-time

Salary:            120K+

This is a senior position and would have direct P&L responsibility. The job responsibility would include leading a team to achieve the client objective of being a leading player in the Energy/Utilties market



Reporting to the Head of Global Public Services Vertical, and would have interface with the President of the company.



In the first year, the candidate will have a booking target of 20USD and a revenue target of 8 MUSD in the first year,



Business Development

•The candidate should have experience leading a sales team calling on the Energy/Utilities industry selling IT Outsourcing and Systems Integration solutions.

• Have a proven track record showing a achievement in increase annual sales.

•Must have experience interfacing with various oil majors and should have a clear understanding of the upstream, midstream and downstream industry segments.

• Experience of long term services contracts and complex financial models is necessary.

• Experience in complex contract negotiations with an eye for details

• High-pressure high competitive selling is essential

• Entrepreneurial skills and instinct in undertaking high level strategic analysis and planning, together with development of customer value propositions.

• Experienced at building relationships, particularly at senior management level, across complex organisations and dealing with many influencers within the decision making process.

• Must be able to demonstrate a range of methods of generating leads for business opportunities through own initiative and approach

• Must be able to pull together ‘virtual’ teams internally and lead / motivate them to excel
