The goal is to be close to a match within three to five candidates.
Finding the right people for your company is important, but reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates takes time.
My experience allows me to save you time. I assess job requirements not as a recruiter gathering keywords, but as someone who would be doing the job.
Initial conversation to understand critical needs:
· Why is this position open?
· What are the top 3 requirements that a candidate must have to be successful?
· Describe a day or days in the life for this position.
· Why have you not been able to find the right candidate?
· What are your 30/60/90 day expectations for this candidate?
This information can be used to create an initial 3 question screening.
Candidate evaluation is much more than just keyword matching and must include:
· Candidate expectations career progression, daily working environment and work requirements (Onsite, Hybrid, Remote, Travel)
· Beyond keywords, specific examples of how they have met challenges, achieved results and learned from failure.
· Cultural fit - What makes the candidate suitable for your position?
· Where is the candidate in their personal development?
· Compensation expectations?
